We try to get the best materials from the best places. Here is a list of what comes from where… Terragren supplies us with a lot of Bamboo sheet goods including plywood used for furniture, and flooring seconds that we repurpose into functional objects. If we can’t buy directly from them, we get their stuff from McKillican. They also sell us the Plyboo sheet goods we use. Occasionally we get plyboo from Edensaw, but we mostly go there for the best selection of sustainably harvested wood. Cedar Products Co. is just down the road from us, and they stock almost all the cedar lumber we ever need. Coyote Woodshop is also right around the corner and they are a great source for reclaimed or salvaged wood from around the Seattle area. DSC is our local tool and hardware supplier, just a few blocks away. Our cushions are made in Seattle by EcoBalanza and upholstered with fabrics from O Eco-Textiles. Our Bamboo and rosewood furniture is produced by Himalayan Bamboo in Nepal. CIBART produces bamboo dowels for us in India.
