Bamboo Farming

Our studio sits on a 3.6 acre plot outside Seattle, where an old strawberry farm used to be.  Since the farm left, there is an opportunity to farm our own bamboo here in the Northwest.  Our inspiration was fueled by the Bamboo Garden Nursery outside Portland.  They have an enormous collection of species and will ship anywhere.  We currently have about ten species scattered around from timber to hedges and its a family affair to nurture and watch them grow.
